  24. A solution I've seen used by professionals is to use a Postscript supporting
  25. package to create the text, already antialiased, then composite the
  26. resulting picture in ImageFX.

  28. Alternately, if your other package doesn't antialias the fonts either, make
  29. the image twice as large as you need, then scale it down in ImageFX before
  30. you make your composite.  You'll get nice antialiased edges this way.
